The King of Swing gets his first WrestleMania singles match agai...

When Seth Rollins finally came back to SmackDown, his return was unwelcome in the eyes of many fellow blue brand Superstars, but perhaps no one objected more than Cesaro.

Rollins’ frustration that night prompted an all-out assault on The Swiss Cyborg, leading to a dizzying response from Cesaro two weeks later in the form of an incredible Cesaro Swing: a clear message that he would not be embracing any of Rollins’ visions.

The fast-intensifying rivalry has seen Cesaro score an impressive win over Murphy, a former disciple of Rollins, and SmackDown’s Savior answering back with a win against Cesaro’s former Tag Team Championship partner, Shinsuke Nakamura, at WWE Fastlane. But when Rollins attempted to shatter Cesaro’s career with a Stomp and a steel chair on SmackDown, the bad blood reached a dangerous new level.

Now, the bitter animosity can only be settled on The Grandest Stage of Them All, where Rollins has shined many times, while Cesaro aims to earn one of the biggest victories of his WWE career where it matters most.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. Ricochet & Aleist...

At WrestleMania, Jimmy & Jey Uso will put the SmackDown Tag Team Championship on the line against Ricochet & Aleister Black, Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev and Sheamus & Cesaro in a Fatal 4-Way Match.

Although the match was announced by WrestleMania 35 Host Alexa Bliss, there is some speculation that The Usos may be facing repercussions for forfeiting their part in a Tag Team Gantlet Match against The New Day one week earlier, a contest specifically set up by Mr. McMahon to keep Kofi Kingston out of a title match against WWE Champion Daniel Bryan on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Regardless of what prompted the creation of the free-for-all showdown, The Usos now face a chaotic uphill battle to hang on to the gold against the surging Ricochet & Black, the deadly alliance of The King of Strong Style & The Bulgarian Brute and five-time Tag Team Champions The Bar.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day vs. The Bar at WWE Supe...

With WWE Super Show-Down already playing host to a series of classic and personal rivalries, two premiere tandems are destined to collide at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The New Day and The Bar will slug it out for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at the historic event on Saturday, Oct. 6, in what’s sure to be another epic clash in their storied rivalry.

In 2016, Sheamus & Cesaro rained on the parade of The New Day by bringing their record-breaking 484-day reign as WWE Tag Team Champions to an end. Earlier this year, Big E & Xavier Woods stopped The Celtic Warrior and The Swiss Cyborg in their tracks as they picked up the W to enter the Men’s Money in the Bank Match. Fate brought them back to together last month, as they battled (and tore the house down) on SmackDown LIVE for the opportunity to take on The Bludgeon Brothers for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship; New Day won that thriller and went on to defeat The Bludgeon Brothers to notch their fifth championship win. And now that Woods, Kingston and Big E are back on top, Cesaro & Sheamus will look to raise The Bar by separating the dynamic trio from the gold. Needless to say, there’s no love lost between these two highly successful combinations.

With pride and championship at stake, will The Bar change the narrative of history and cause their longtime rivals their shortest title reign yet? Or will The New Day once again triumph off The Power of Positivity?

Don’t miss WWE Super Show-Down, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 5 a.m. ET/2 a.m. PT on WWE Network.

Sheamus & Cesaro vs. Braun Strowman and a partner of his ch...

At WrestleMania, The Bar are heading to a whole new level. That’s because Raw Tag Team Champions Sheamus & Cesaro will be putting their illustrious titles on the line against Braun Strowman and a partner of his choosing.

For the past year, Cesaro & Sheamus have firmly established themselves as Raw’s premiere tag team, overcoming every conceivable combination prior to The Showcase of the Immortals. The brash champions received a rude awakening, however, when they set out to battle The Miztourage on Raw, as Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel were suddenly joined by The Revival, Heath Slater & Rhyno, Titus Worldwide and Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, and the resulting confrontation produced an all-out brawl that The Bar narrowly escaped.

When Sheamus & Cesaro took issue with Kurt Angle, the General Manager decided to establish an impromptu Raw Tag Team Battle Royal to determine the titleholder’s opponents for The Grandest Stage of Them All. However, Angle almost certainly wasn’t counting on the Braun Strowman factor when he made the match, and The Monster Among Men shockingly emerged to punch his ticket to WrestleMania by reigning supreme over every tandem in the ring.

The following week, amidst a sea of speculation, Angle announced he would grant Strowman a Raw Tag Team Championship opportunity at WrestleMania as a result of winning the Battle Royal, provided the Superstar could find a tag team partner.

The Monster Among Men has wreaked has havoc on everybody and everything from the moment he came to Monday Night Raw, but who will the one-man wrecking crew select to be his partner? With the glory of a potential WrestleMania moment hanging in the balance, will The Gift of Destruction be willing to work together with anyone? Will The Bar once again rise to the occasion?

Don’t miss WrestleMania, Sunday, April 8, at a special start time of 7 ET/4 PT, exclusively on the award-winning WWE Network!

Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan vs. Cesa...

Destiny didn’t quite bring them together, but Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan are destined to be in for an incredible fight when they defend their newly-captured titles against former champions Cesaro & Sheamus at Royal Rumble.

Following the injury to Seth Rollins’ Shield brother-in-arms Dean Ambrose, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle chose his son Jason Jordan as The Architect’s new tag team partner, and perhaps no one could have predicted that the makeshift pair would immediately take down The Bar for Team Red’s tag team crowns on a special Christmas night edition of Monday Night Raw. That miraculous victory didn’t exactly go all the way in uniting Rollins and Jordan, however, as the two Superstars have somewhat struggled to gel ever since becoming champions, despite continuing to fend off The Swiss Cyborg and The Celtic Warrior.

However, with a title rematch against Cesaro & Sheamus at Royal Rumble on the horizon, can Rollins & Jordan find the rhythm they need to carry on as Raw Tag Team Champions? Or, will the trust and experience between The Swiss Cyborg and The Celtic Warrior carry them back into the championship circle?

Find out when the Raw Tag Team Titles are defended at Royal Rumble, streaming live on WWE Network on Sunday, Jan. 28, at a special start time of 7 ET/4 PT.

TLC Preview The Bar,Miz & Strowman vs The Shield
Published by: |   (0) Comments      Read MORE      Filed Under: PPV, PPV Preview

The Shield has returned! Much to the elation of the WWE Universe, Roman Reigns has reunited with Raw Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins to wage war against the overwhelming quartet of Braun Strowman, Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Cesaro & Sheamus in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match at WWE TLC.

Though Reigns’ insisted he was on a different path from his former Shield brethren, the rumors began to run wild as to whether the fans were destined to see The Hounds of Justice together again, especially after Ambrose and Rollins put their turbulent history aside and captured the Raw Tag Team Titles from Sheamus and Cesaro.

While The Lunatic Fringe and The Kingslayer were busy duking it out with The Swiss Cyborg and The Celtic Warrior over the illustrious tag titles, The Miz was poking a stick at The Big Dog in his unrelenting search for respect. Eventually, “The Bar” aligned with The A-Lister to execute a brutal 3-on-1 beatdown on Reigns. The trio even tempted fate when they culminated their attack with a Shield-signature Triple Powerbomb and mocked the brothers-in-arms by putting their fists together a la The Hounds of Justice.

However, the ridicule turned serious in a hurry when the reunited Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins interrupted “Miz TV” one week later and unleashed a major counter-offensive of their own.

In the wake of the chaos, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle made the Six-Man Tag Team Match, and we are off to the races. However, when Miz pointed out Ambrose’s earlier boast that The Shield could take on four or five guys, Angle agreed to let The A-Lister try to secure a fourth member for his team. Instead of a man, though, the fourth combatant turned out to be a Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman.

A longstanding adversary to Reigns, Strowman also recently defeated Ambrose and Rollins, respectively. The massive Superstar literally tips the scales in favor of Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus in a big bad way. Together, the nearly insurmountable combination may prove cataphoric to the reunification of The Shield.

Don’t miss a moment of the action at WWE TLC, Sunday, Oct. 22, at 8 ET/5 PT, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network

Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamus vs. The Hardy Boyz ...
Published by: |   (0) Comments      Read MORE      Filed Under: PPV Preview, Preview

Do The Hardy Boyz still have what it takes to once again rise to the top of the mountain? The WWE Universe will find out at the first-ever WWE Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view, when Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Sheamus once again go head-to-head against Matt & Jeff in a 30-Minute WWE Iron Man Match. The winners of the bout will be the team with the most pinfalls or submissions once the time limit has been reached.

Eight nights after Sheamus & Cesaro captured the coveted Raw Tag Team Championship in a hard-fought Steel Cage Match at WWE Extreme Rules, the new titleholders battled their extreme predecessors to a draw in a 2-out-of-3 Falls championship rematch on Raw, a bout that ended in a double count-out and left questions as to who was the better tandem, especially after The Alabaster Gladiator and The Swiss Superman quickly retreated up the ramp while the Hardys appeared ready for more.

In the weeks that followed, Matt & Jeff worked to get back into title contention, picking up a huge victory over the formidable Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson and even beating Sheamus & Cesaro themselves in Six-Man Tag Team Match. All the while, a great many members of the WWE Universe and the locker room alike have clamored to find out if and when the Hardys would, in fact, get another opportunity at the gold.

Now, the wait is finally over! Find out who will walk out of the first-ever WWE Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view with the gold, streaming live this Sunday at 8 ET/5 PT, on the award-winning WWE Network.

At Extreme Rules, Matt & Jeff Hardy will attempt to withstand the wrath of Cesaro & Sheamus when the two explosive tandems go to war for the Raw Tag Team Titles inside a Steel Cage on WWE’s most extreme night of the year!

Though mutual respect was the name of the game when The Hardy Boyz squared off against Cesaro & Sheamus at WWE Payback, the camaraderie quickly flew out the window during a vicious post-match attack. Just moments after the seven-time Tag Team Champions successful defended their titles, The Swiss Cyborg and The Alabaster Gladiator unleashed a brutal surprise assault on the extreme brothers and sent a definitive message that they are nowhere near done with Matt & Jeff.

Armed with their newfound ruthless aggression and a determination to prove The Hardys are nothing more than a “novelty act,” Cesaro & Sheamus went on to triumph in a Tag Team Turmoil Match to determine the No. 1 contender to the Raw Tag Team Championship, eliminating Enzo & Big Cass, Heath Slater & Rhyno, Golden Truth and Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson on the May 8 edition of Raw in a dominant performance.

But Matt Hardy would win momentum back again when he overcame Sheamus two weeks later to win the right to name the stipulation for their Extreme pay-per-view showdown, the daunting Steel Cage!

Will The Hardy Boyz once again rise above their brutal No. 1 contenders among the unforgiving steel? Or is the curtain destined to come down on their “novelty act?” Find out at Extreme Rules, June 4 at 8 ET/5 PT, streaming live on WWE Network.

Roadblock:End of The Line Preview:Can Cesaro and Sheamus Defeat ...

Cesaro & Sheamus will have another chance to end The New Day’s unprecedented Raw Tag Team Title reign when they challenge the champions this Sunday at Roadblock: End of the Line.

Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods crossed the threshold into the history books this week, breaking Demolition’s record for the longest-reigning tag team champions in WWE history. This Sunday will mark 483 consecutive days since The New Day won the titles in August 2015. To make it this far, The New Day have had to squeeze by challengers on Raw on a weekly basis of late, including two Triple Threat Matches this past Monday — the first of which was a victory against Cesaro & Sheamus and Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson.

Yet, some observers argue that The New Day only retained their titles because they stole the winning fall from The Swiss Superman and The Celtic Warrior, who delivered a powerful performance on Raw.
