Match Number Three: Sheamus and Cesaro versus Xaiver Woods and Big E (with Kofi Kingston) for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships

Sheamus and Woods start things off and Sheamus with a side head lock take down and a shoulder tackle. Sheamus with an Irish whip. Woods with a forearm and a satellite head scissors followed by a drop kick for a near fall. Cesaro hits Woods from behind while Sheamus distracts the referee. Cesaro tags in and he kicks Woods. Cesaro with a chin lock and Woods punches Sheamus and Cesaro. Sheamus tags in and they hit a double clothesline.

Sheamus kicks Woods in the back and applies an arm bar. Sheamus with a front face lock while Woods tries to make the tag. Sheamus runs Woods into the turnbuckles and Cesaro tags in and hits a running European uppercut for a near fall. Cesaro with a reverse chin lock on Woods and he sends Woods back to the mat. Woods side steps Cesaro and Cesaro goes to the floor. Sheamus tags in and then he goes into the ring post when Woods moves.

Big E and Cesaro tag in and Big E with two overhead belly-to-belly suplexes followed by a belly-to-belly suplex. Big E clotheslines Sheamus over the top rope and Cesaro wtih a rollup for a near fall. Big E with a uranagE for a near fall. Sheamus makes the tag and he hits a knee to the head and misses a Brogue Kick and goes into the top rope. Woods tags in and Big E with a spear through the ropes. Woods with a Shining Wizard for a near fall.

Big E tags in and he gets Sheamus up for Up Up Down Down but Sheamus moves. Sheamus with a Finlay Slam. Big E with a Big Ending to Sheamus but Cesaro picks up Big E and hits a Gotch Style Neutralizer for a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Big E tries to superplex Cesaro but Sheamus tags in and he gets Big E up and Cesaro with a European uppercut. Kofi pushes Sheamus’ feet off the ropes. Cesaro with a Northern Lariat to Kofi. Cesaro and Sheamus catch Woods and send him into the ringside barrier.

Big Show’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring after Sheamus and Cesaro rearrange the alternate commentary table. Show helps Kofi up and then Show choke slams Kofi through the announce table. Big E turns around into a Brogue Kick and Sheamus gets the three count.

SmackDown Tag Team Title Match: The New Day © vs. The Bar

Cesaro and Kofi start things out with some basic wrestling 101. Kofi lands a clothesline and tags in Woods, who hits an elbow drop off the middle rope then takes out Sheamus. Kofi with a springboard splash twice for 2. Cesaro and Sheamus roll out of the ring to regroup until Kofi went for an outside dive but was caught and sent into the ring post. The same went for Woods. Back in the ring where the challengers caught Kofi with a double kick and clothesline. The challengers beat down Kofi for a few minutes with double team moves and quick tags to gain the advantage.

Sheamus missed a clothesline and Cesaro caught Kofi with an uppercut then landed a backbreaker for 2. Moments later, Kofi fought back with a series of strikes and backdropped Cesaro over the top rope to the floor. Woods got the hot tag and hit Cesaro with a superkick. Woods with a low kick to Sheamus then a DDT for 2. Woods with a head kick to Sheamus, who later reversed a move into a backbreaker for 2.

Sheamus missed the big boot and Woods rolled him up for 2. Cesaro was tagged in and hit Woods with a major league uppercut for 2. Cesaro went swinging with Woods several times then locked in the sharpshooter until Kofi kicked Sheamus away and broke up the submission. Kofi took Sheamus out of the ring while in the ring, Woods rolled up Cesaro for 2. Cesaro rolled him up and used the ropes but only got 2 thanks to Kofi. Woods with a big boot then the New Day hit their tag team finisher for the win.

Kramer Kingsmen is trying to interview them but before he can finish his monologue, they have made their way to the ring.

Match Number Three: Rusev and Aiden English (with Lana) versus Sheamus and Cesaro in the Number One Contender Tournament Finals

Cesaro and Aiden start things off and they lock up. Aiden goes to the floor. They lock up again and Aiden with a side head lock. Cesaro with a shoulder tackle. Aiden with a Japanese arm drag and then he sends Cesaro into the turnbuckles. Rusev is tagged in and Aiden with a hip into the corner and Rusev with a clothesline for a near fall. Rusev with a punch and shoulders in the corner. Cesaro with a knee and he tags in Sheamus. Sheamus goes for a suplex but Rusev blocks it.

Rusev with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Rusev with an elbow drop and then he applies a front face lock. Rusev with a punch but Sheamus with a clothesline for a near fall. Cesaro tags in and hits a European uppercut and then slams Rusev. Cesaro with a reverse chin lock. Sheamus tags in and he applies a reverse chin lock. Rusev escapes and he connects with a boot. English tags in and he hits a cross body and follows with punches. English with a kick and snap neck breaker. Sheamus goes for a belly-to-back suplex and English lands on his feet. Sheamus goes to the floor and so does Cesaro. Rusev tags in and he sends English over the top rope onto Sheamus and Cesaro.

English with a DDT for a near fall. Cesaro tries to interfere but English sees him coming. Sheamus with a knee to English to knock him off the apron. Cesaro tags in and he connects with a European uppercut. Cesaro throws some pancakes before getting back into the ring. Cesaro with a European uppercut and he tags Sheamus back in. They kick English and Sheamus with a clothesline for a near fall.

Cesaro tags back in and he kicks English and applies a reverse chin lock.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sheamus with a back breaker to English but Aiden gets to his feet and he connects with a jaw breaker. Sheamus charges into the corner but misses English and Sheamus hits the ring post shoulder first. Cesaro and Rusev tag in and Rusev with a shoulder tackle and round kick. Rusev with a running hip into the corner followed by a spinning heel kick. Rusev with a pop up knee to the midsection and he gets a near fall.

Rusev applies the Accolade but Sheamus breaks it up. Rusev sends Sheamus to the floor. Rusev runs into a European uppercut and Sheamus tags in. They hit a double elevated DDT for a near fall. Sheamus sends Rusev into the turnbuckles but Rusev escapes and he gets a near fall with a rollup. Sheamus with a power slam for a near fall. Sheamus sets for the Brogue Kick and Aiden pushes Rusev out of the way and takes the Brogue Kick. Rusev with a Machka Kick for the three count.

Sheamus and Anderson start things off and Sheamus with a shoulder tackle. Anderson with a drop kick and a kick to the head. Anderson gets a near fall. Cesaro tags in and Cesaro with a European uppercut. Anderson with a drop kick for a near fall. Gallows tags in and he kicks Cesaro and sends him into the turnbuckles. Gallows gets a near fall. Gallows with a front face lock and Anderson tags in and he kicks Cesaro. Cesaro with a European uppercut and Primo tags in and Anderson with an arm drag into an arm bar. Primo with a knee and chop.

Anderson goes for a sunset flip but Epico tags in and they kick Anderson and get a near fall. Epico goes for a suplex but Anderson blocks it and gets a near fall with a inside cradle. Epico with an Irish whip but he misses an elbow into the corner. Anderson with a kick and he goes to the turnbuckles but Primo distracts Anderson and Epico knocks Anderson to the floor. Primo tags in and he hits a clothesline on the floor.

Primo kicks Anderson on the floor and then they return to the ring. Primo with a slingshot senton for a near fall. Primo with a cobra clutch. Epico tags in and he kicks Anderson and then connects with punches to the head. Epico with a delayed vertical suplex for a near fall. Sheamus tags in and he argues with Epico. Sheamus with a knee to Anderson and he tags Cesaro in. Cesaro gets a near fall and then applies a reverse chin lock. Anderson with a belly-to-back suplex to escape the hold and both men are down. Primo tags back in and he tells Cesaro to go to the apron. Anderson with forearms that stagger Primo. Primo sends Anderson to the mat and apron. Primo gets a near fall.

Primo chokes Anderson in the ropes and misses the splash to teh back. Cesaro tags in and he pushes Primo. Epico and Primo push Cesaro and Sheamus and then all four men exchange punches. Cesaro kicks Gallows down on the apron and Sheamus tags in. Sheamus gets Anderson on his knee and Cesaro with an elbow drop for a near fall. Sheamus with a back breaker on his shoulder. Anderson with elbows to get out of the hold and Anderson with a jumping neck breaker.

Gallows and Cesaro tag in and Gallows with clotheslines and an uppercut. Gallows with a splash into the corner followed by a round kick to the head. Gallows with a boot to Epico. Gallows with a pump handle slam followed by a splash for a near fall. Gallows runs into a boot and Primo tags in and comes off the turnbuckles into a super kick. Gallows gets a near fall that is broken up by Sheamus. Anderson with a spinebuster. Gallows and Anderson with a belly-to-back suplex and neck breaker combination. They set for the Magic Killer but Epico with a lungblower on Anderson. They hit a double lungblower on Gallows but Cesaro tags in and he pins Gallows.

We go to ringside where Cesaro and Sheamus show that they are not pancake fans.

Match Number Five: Sheamus and Cesaro versus Big E and Kofi Kingston (with Xavier Woods) in the Finals of the Number One Contender Tournament for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles

Big E and Cesaro start things off and Cesaro with a waist lock and Big E with a standing switch. Big E with a back drop to Cesaro and he gyrates. Cesaro with a kick and punch and then he puts Big E in a side head lock. Big E with a back elbow and Kofi tags in and kicks Cesaro and gets a near fall. Kofi with a wrist lock and Cesaro with an Irish whip and monkey flip but Kofi lands on his feet. Kofi with a drop kick for a near fall. Cesaro punches Kofi and tags Sheamus back in.

Sheamus with a European uppercut and Kofi lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Kofi goes for a monkey flip but Sheamus blocks it. Sheamus puts Kofi on the turnbuckles and connects with a forearm to send Kofi to the floor. Xavier checks on Kofi but Sheamus picks up Kofi and connects with a European uppercut. Sheamus brings Kofi back into the ring and Cesaro tags in. Cesaro with a reverse chin lock. Kofi with elbows and then he goes for a sunset flip but Cesaro stays on his feet and he tags Sheamus in. Sheamus and Cesaro with a double clothelsine for a near fall.

We are back and Cesaro stands over Kofi. Kofi tries for punches but Cesaro stops him and sends Kofi into the corner. Cesaro runs into boots and Kofi punches Cesaro. Kofi back drops Cesaro over the top rope to the floor but Cesaro stops Kofi from making the tag and tags in Sheamus. Sheamus misses a shoulder and hits the ring post. Big E tags in and hits two overhead belly-to-belly suplexes and follows with a belly-to-belly suplex. Big E sends Cesaro to the floor when he tries to interfere. Sheamus with a knee but Big E gets a near fall out of the corner.

Big E tags Kofi in and they set for the Midnight Hour but Sheamus escapes. Sheamus and Big E collide in the ring. Cesaro tags in and Kofi with SOS for a near fall. Cesaro with a knee to the midsection. Kofi trips Cesaro and Kofi punches Cesaro. Big E tags in and tries for the splash on the apron but Cesaro moves. Kofi comes off the apron but Sheamus catches him and hits a Finlay slam on the floor. Cesaro sends Big E back in and Sheamus tags in. They hit a double gourdbuster for a near fall.

Sheamus with a knee to the midsection and then he kicks Big E in the corner. Cesaro tags in and they make a wish with Big E. Sheamus tags in and they do it a second time. Cesaro tags back in and they go for the hat trick. Cesaro gets a near fall.

We are back and Sheamus with a single leg Boston crab on Big E. Sheamus puts Big E on the turnbuckles and Sheamus sets for a superplex. Big E blocks it and Cesaro tags in. Cesaro with a boot to the head and Sheamus tags in. Cesaro goes for a superplex and Sheamus with a knee from the turnbuckles but Big E kicks out. Sheamus kicks Big E in the back and tries for the Cloverleaf. Sheamus gets a near fall as he tries to get Big E over. Big E kicks Sheamus to the floor. Kofi gets back on the apron and Cesaro pulls Sheamus into the ring. Kofi tags in and he hits clotheslines on Cesaro and follows with the Boom Drop. Kofi sets for Trouble in Paradise but Cesaro is pulled to the floor. Kofi with a plancha trust fall onto Cesaro and Sheamus. Kofi with a double stomp for a near fall.

Kofi sends Sheamus to the floor. Kofi lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Sheamus tags in and they hit a double back breaker and Sheamus gets a near fall. Sheamus sets for the Brogue Kick and Kofi avoids it. Kofi runs into an elbow and Cesaro tags in. Kofi with a forearm to Cesaro followed by a drop kick to Sheamus. Big E tags in and they set for Midnight Hour but Cesaro knocks Kofi off the turnbuckles. Sheamus and Cesaro hit a spike White Noise for a near fall. Sheamus sends Kofi into the ringside barrier.

Cesaro with a European uppercut and Big E with punches. Cesaro with the Giant Swing and Sharpshooter. Big E tries to get to the ropes but Cesaro pulls Big E into the center of the ring. Sheamus pulls Kofi away from the ring and Kofi with a tornado DDT off the ringside barrier. Big E tries to crawl across the ring and he goes to his corner but Kofi is not there. Cesaro with a crossface in the center of the ring.

BIg E picks up Cesaro and Kofi tags in. Kofi goes up top and they hit Midnight Hour for the three count.

Sheamus and Cesaro walk in the back with their contracts and they see The New Day.

Kofi asks who do we have here? The two dudes who said they would win the Raw Tag Titles and go back to Raw. Wha happened?

Cesaro says they always wanted to stay on Smackdown so they can flatten the New day like pancakes.

Xavier rings his bell and Mr. Bootyworth has a tray of pancakes for Sheamus and Cesaro.

Cesaro asks if they put laxatives in the pancakes and the New Day say they wouldn’t do that.

Cesaro throws the tray in the air.

Sheamus says they should have a match tonight. Big E accepts the challenge, but Sheamus says he was talking to Woods and he asks Short Stack.

Woods tells Sheamus that his soul is his.

Match Number Two: Sheamus (with Cesaro) versus Xavier Woods (with Big E and Kofi Kingston)

They lock up and Sheamus sends Woods to the mat and he does it a second time. Sheamus runs Woods into the turnbuckles and then Irish whips him. Woods with a knee and chops. Sheamus with an Irish whip and Woods floats over and hits a drop kick to the knee. Sheamus catches Woods and pushes him away. Woods with a rolling elbow and drop kick to send Sheamus to the floor.

Woods with a plancha onto Sheamus. Cesaro distracts Woods on the floor and Sheamus with a knee to Woods on the apron. Sheamus gets a near fall. Sheamus with forearms across the chest and then he sends Woods throat first into the bottom rope. Sheamus chokes Woods with his boot and then he hits a short arm clothesline. Sheamus with a knee drop to the back and he applies a top wrist lock.

Woods with a jaw breaker and then he is sent to the apron. Sheamus with forearms and then he hits forearms across the chest. Woods drops Sheamus on the top rope but Sheamus with a punch and knee drop. Sheamus returns to the top wrist lock. Woods with punches but Sheamus with a uranage back breaker. Woods with punches and chops but Sheamus with a punch. Woods lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Woods with a knee to the head. Woods is sent into the corner but Sheamus misses a charge into the corner and hits the ring post. Woods with a leg drop for a near fall.

Woods goes up top and leaps over Sheamus. Sheamus with a near fall. Woods with a Shining Wizard and then he goes up top but Cesaro distracts Woods. Cesaro sends Big E into the ring post. Woods with a baseball slide to Cesaro but Sheamus sends him into the ringside barrier. Woods with an inside cradle for the three count.

Fall Number Two:

Apollo helps Titus up and Cesaro faces Apollo. Cesaro with a knee but Apollo with a kick and cross body for a near fall. Apollo with a series of rollups for near falls. Cesaro with a punch and Sheamus tags in. Sheamus with an Irish whip but Apollo floats over and hits a drop kick for a near fall. Titus tags in and he sends Sheamus into the corner but Cesaro is tagged in. Titus with a shoulder tackle. Titus picks up Cesaro and connects with a chop. Apollo tags in and he sends Cesaro into the corner with a shoulder. Titus with a slam and Apollo with a leaping elbow drop for a near fall.

Titus tags in and they hit a double shoulder tackle. Titus with a hard Irish whip. Apollo tags in and he punches Cesaro. Apollo presses Cesaro over his head and then he hits a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Apollo kicks Sheamus off the apron and he hits a moonsault from the apron onto Sheamus and Cesaro.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Apollo punches Cesaro and tries to make the tag. Apollo with more punches and then he back drops Cesaro over the top rope to the floor. Sheamus tags in and he goes for a slam but Apollo escapes and he tags in Titus. Titus with a shoulder tackle and clothesline. Titus with punches in the corner followed by a biel. Sheamus with a boot but Titus with a power slam. Titus barks and hits a splash into the corner. Titus with a power bomb for a near fall. Apollo tags in and he hits a frog splash for a near fall. Titus sends Cesaro to the floor and Sheamus sends Titus to the floor.

Apollo with a rollup for a near fall. Apollo with an enzuigiri followed by a standing moonsault for a near fall. Cesaro pulls Titus off the apron but Titus with a clothesline. Sheamus hits Titus from behind and sends him into the ringside barrier. Apollo with a pescado. Cesaro tries to stop Apollo on the turnbuckles and Sheamus kicks Apollo to the mat. Cesaro tags in and they hit the Spike White Noise for the three count.

Winners: Sheamus and Cesaro

After the match, Sheamus and Cesaro are interviewed in the ring. Sheamus says they had their number tonight and it was zero. Cesaro says two men walked into The Bar . . . Sheamus says nobody walks into The Bar and nobody gets up. They run through the teams that have fallen to them. Sheamus asks how does his hair look. Sheamus mentions Jason Jordan and Cesaro asks ‘who’.

Sheamus says everyone wants to be part of Wrestlemania. They are going to be punished because they are so dominant. Who is there left if there is no one to beat.

Following an all-out brawl between The Shield and Samoa Joe & the Raw Tag Team Champions, the trios battled each other in singles competition on Raw. Although Seth Rollins defeated Sheamus, and Roman Reigns successfully defended the Intercontinental Championship against Cesaro, Samoa Joe managed to defeat Dean Ambrose – no thanks to Jason Jordan – only intensifying the rivalry further.

Despite The Big Dog being set to defend the Intercontinental Title against Samoa Joe on Raw, The Hounds of Justice were ready for a fight, and the USS Dewey provided the perfect backdrop to a Six-Man Tag Team battle pitting The Shield against Samoa Joe and the Raw Tag Team Champions.

There was certainly no love lost between the trios, but The Shield maintained a strong wave of momentum throughout the contest. Although Samoa Joe and the Raw Tag Team Champions did their best to slow The Hounds of Justice, the relentless offense and teamwork of Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns proved to be too much, as the Intercontinental Champion picked up the victory with a ring-shaking Spear to Cesaro.

After the match, The Shield took a moment to thank the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces in attendance.
