Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta), Konosuke Takeshita, and Shota Umino vs. The Elite (“Hangman” Adam Page, Nick Jackson, and Matt Jackson), Eddie Kingston, and Tomohiro Ishii

Page and Umino began the match. Umino landed a cheap shot on Page in the corner. Page connected with a big boot. Ishii was tagged in. Umino tagged in Takeshita. Ishii and Takeshita exchanged strikes in the center of the ring. 

Moxley and Kingston eventually became the legal wrestlers. Moxley struck Kingston in the face. Kingston replied with a chop to the chest. Kingston and Moxley traded chops. The bout then broke down with every wrestler in the match entering the ring. 

The Young Bucks and Page dived to the floor while Moxley and Kingston continued to collide in the middle of the ring. Castagnoli tagged into the match. The BCC, Takeshita, and Umino kept Kingston in their corner. Takeshita wiped Ishii out with a huge punch to the face. 

Umino continued to work over Kingston as the legal wrestler. Moxley tagged in and stood in Kingston’s way as he attempted to tag in one of The Young Bucks. Moxley and Kingston traded chops again. 

Ishii and Castagnoli collided in the center of the ring. Umino and Takeshita worked together to take out Ishii. Page and Takeshita became the legal men. Page landed a shooting star press from the apron as The Young Bucks held Takeshita. Page attempted a pin back inside the ring. 

Matt Jackson became the legal wrestler. Takeshita delivered a double suplex to The Young Bucks. The Bucks then delivered several superkicks. Kingston became conflicted. Takeshita attempted a pin after landing a Blue Thunder Bomb on Matt Jackson. 

Castagnoli delivered a giant swing to Matt Jackson in the middle of the ring. Yuta connected with a dropkick during the swing and went for a cover. Ishii tagged in and fought with Yuta. Ishii attempted a pin after delivering a superplex. 

The match broke down again with each wrestler in the bout landing a move. Ishii connected with a clothesline on Yuta and followed up with a brainbuster to pick up the victory for his team. 

Winners: The Elite (“Hangman” Adam Page, Nick Jackson, and Matt Jackson), Eddie Kingston, and Tomohiro Ishii via pinfall

We cut backstage, where BCC and Takeshita address what’s been going down the past few weeks before issuing a challenge to The Elite at Forbidden Door for a five-on-five tag match. Bryan Danielson calls out Okada, saying if he doesn’t show up by the end of the night he will prove how much of a coward he is.

The Elite (Hangman Page & The Young Bucks) vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta)

We start off with chaos in the ring as BCC and The Elite go right at each other, until the Bucks and Page send BCC out of the ring! The BCC head around the ring but are caught with a dive by Nick Jackson and Page, who follows up with a shooting star press off the apron onto Wheeler Yuta! Things finally settle as we come into the ring with Mox and Page, who tags in Matt Jackson…only for the Young Buck to get taken down hard by Mox!

Mox beats him up in the corner until Matt turns things around, getting a tag to Nick who keeps the BCC at bay before going after Mox. Nick turns his focus to Claudio and this turns out to be a mistake as he’s sent down to the floor…but Page catches him with a lariat! Things start to break down again until Matt Jackson leaps off the top turnbuckle onto the BCC on the outside!

Matt looks to follow up but is caught by Yuta, as Mox gets Nick with a piledriver for a nearfall as we go to picture-in-picture!

Picture-in-Picture: Tag to Claudio as the BCC are now in control of the situation, with Nick being sent to the corner hard as Claudio goes to work on the former AEW tag champ. Tag to Yuta as he and Claudio keep on the attack, and Yuta goes to work on the legs of Nick before tagging Claudio back in, and the ROH World Champion goes after the head and neck in his offense against Nick before tagging in Mox…who takes a much more brutal approach, hitting a chop before sending Nick hard into the corner. Mox taunts the crowd as he continues the beatdown, dropping Nick with a suplex for a nearfall. Nick starts to fight back as we return!

Nick escapes the BCC on the outside before rushing back in, looking for a tag that he gets as Mox tags out! Page is in now as he takes out Claudio and Yuta with a flurry of offense, before climbing to the top turnbuckle for a lariat that gets a nearfall! Page lands a corner powerbomb right into a double enziguri by the Bucks, and Matt tags in for a locomotion Northern Lights suplex on Yuta…before he gets to add Mox to the mix!

Yuta sent to the corner, but Claudio rushes in as things get crazy yet again, before Yuta hits a bridging German suplex for a nearfall on Matt Jackson! Yuta and Matt are both down, but Yuta is able to get a tag to Mox who immediately goes after Page on the outside…before hitting a Doomsday Device with the assist by Yuta, but only gets a nearfall on Matt Jackson! Mox goes for the hammer and elbow strikes and locks in the choke, but Nick Jackson makes the save for his brother! Tag to Claudio, who catches a superkick before hitting a chokeslam and a tag to Yuta! Rocket Launcher by the duo…but it’s stopped!

Young Bucks with a superkick party on the BCC before Page hits a pop-up powerbomb on Yuta! BTE Trigger by the Bucks, followed by a big ol’ Buckshot Lariat by Page for the pin and the win in our main event!

Winners via pinfall: The Elite (Hangman Page & The Young Bucks)
The celebration is cut short as BCC rush back into the ring, going after the Bucks and Page…until Eddie Kingston hits the ramp, making a beeline for the ROH World Champion! Kingston and Claudio go at it until the champ is sent over the top to the outside by Kingston, who turns around to face Mox who has bad intentions…until the Bucks cut him off!

Kingston and Mox have a staredown and shouting contest over what Mox has been up to lately, until Takeshita runs down to blindside the Elite and Kingston! Takeshita is all alone in the ring until Kenny Omega runs down to intercept, leading a big brawl as BCC, The Elite, and more end up going at it in the ring. We’re left with Kenny Omega and Takeshita, as Kenny goes for the V-Trigger on Takeshita…but is then cut off by Will Ospreay!

Blackpool Combat Club (Wheeler Yuta, Jon Moxley, and ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli) vs. CHAOS (Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta, and Chuck Taylor)

Trent takes Yuta into the ring with a superplex from the top turnbuckle as the bell rings, and Taylor takes advantage with a piledriver for a nearfall as Claudio comes in to break it up! Tag made to Claudio now, as the champ wears down Chuck Taylor before tagging in Mox. Mox and Taylor go at it as we see Trent going after Yuta on the outside, and BCC is cleared out of the ring before Trent, Chuck, and Rocky give the people what they want!

Mox rushes back into the ring as Taylor goes after him, only to get tripped up by Yuta allowing Mox to get an opening. Tag to Claudio followed by a quick tag to Yuta, and the pair double-team on Taylor before Yuta gets a nearfall as we go to picture-in-picture!

Picture-in-Picture: BCC are firmly in control here as tags are made a little frequently, all for the sake of keeping Taylor away from making a tag. Taylor tries to fight back but is overwhelmed by Claudio coming in, who locks in a tight chinlock on Chuck…until Taylor gets back to his feet, only to be brought back down to the canvas as Yuta tags in, keeping on top of Taylor as we come back from break!

Yuta hits a German suplex on Taylor, who responds with a knee strike on Yuta before making the tag to Trent! Mox tags in but is caught with some hard punches and a back suplex by Trent, who really lays the offense on thick against the former World champion. Mox responds with a chop of his own but Rocky gets the tag, unleashing a flurry of offense on the BCC until Mox catches him with a toe kick to the sternum.

Trent and Rocky catch Mox with some double-team maneuvers as Rocky gets a nearfall, looking to keep on it as Rocky tags in Trent…only for Azucar to get dropped by Yuta as Mox looks for the Gotch style piledriver. Taylor and Trent hit a double-team on Mox, but Claudio breaks up the pin! Rocky’s back and he tags in, looking for Sliced Bread on Mox…only to avoid an attack by Mox to lock in an armbar!

Claudio catches Trent on the outside as Mox reverses the armbar into a bulldog choke on Rocky, and Yuta gets a hammer and elbow strike on Taylor…forcing Rocky to submit!

Winners via submission: Blackpool Combat Club
BCC celebrate in the ring, but are interrupted by Hangman Page and the Young Bucks, who make a challenge to the trio in the ring for next week. Bryan accepts the challenge on their behalf, promising that things will come to an end for the trio next week in Washington, D.C.!

ROH Champion Jonathan Gresham vs. Claudio Castagnoli.

Starting with the World title? We are then told that the tag team title matches will be the main event. William Regal joins commentary.

Claudio goes for the uppercut to start and Grasham dodges it. Gresham and Claudio start battling with a wrist lock. They break. They go for a greco roman knuckle lock and Claudio picks the legs and gets the big swing. Claudio goes for a pin and Gresham bridges out. Gresham goes to the apron and gets a dragon screw on Claudio. Claudio is able to block an Irish whip and reverses it on him. They do it again, and when they greek, Gresham is able to take Claudio down and then drop kicks his knees, keeping him down.

Gresham goes for a leg lock and the battle in the leg lock. Gresham tries for a figure four , and Claudio kicks him off. Gresham goes to the apron again and they battle in the ropes. Claudio is finally able to slam Gresham back into the ring for a two count. Gresham is able to attack in the corner again and then goes after Claudio’s knees. Greshma leaps at Claudio and Claudio snatches him from the air and hits a back breaker for a two count. Claudio gets another slam and a two count.

Claudio tries for the sharp shooter and Gresham is able to block it so Claudio hits a double stomp for a two count. Gresham go9es back to attacking the knee. Gresham tries for a suplex, and Claudio backs him into the corner. Gresham is able to get a drop kick and an ankle lock. Claudio gets to the rope for a break. Gresham hits a series of chops. Gresham calls for a chop from Claudio, which is instead a pair of uppercuts. Gresham goes back to the knees, gets an insigiri.

Claudio is able to get Gresham up, but his knee gives out and Gresham gets a moonsault into an ankle lock. Gresham is then able to get a German and hold on for a two. He then goes for a series of quick two count. Claudio gets an upper cut, but Gresham gets out of a slam and then trade two counts.Claudio is able to get the hammer and anvil elbows, and as some foreign object falls from Gresham’s hands, Claudio gets the Ricola Bomb for the pin and the three.

BLOOD & GUTS CAGE MATCH!

The Jericho Appreciation Society—Angelo Parker, Matt Menard, Daniel Garcia, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara (with Tay Conti), & “The Wizard” Chris Jericho

vs.

The Blackpool Combat Club—(AEW Interim World Champion Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta, accompanied by William Regal) & Eddie Kingston, Santana, & Ortiz!

The Jericho Appreciation Society scored the man advantage at Forbidden Door this past Sunday on pay-per-view.

William Regal joined the broadcast booth for this match.

Sammy began for the Jericho Appreciation Society, while Claudio started the match for the Blackpool Combat Club.

“If I was Sammy, I’d be running for the hills right now,” said Regal.

Claudio rammed Sammy into the turnbuckles and followed up with European Uppercuts! Sammy tried to chop Claudio’s chest but Claudio shrugged it off and blasted Sammy with more European Uppercuts! Sammy began to scale the cage and Claudio met him up there and yanked Sammy down onto the ring ropes.

Sammy spring boarded off the ropes to create distance from Claudio. Sammy gave Claudio the middle finger. Claudio was looking for an elevator uppercut but Sammy countered with a cutter!

Daniel Garcia was the next man to enter and he began to stomp a mudhole into Claudio. Sammy attacked from the other side, but Claudio wouldn’t be shut down. Finally Sammy connected with a kick that rang Claudio’s bells. Sammy and Daniel double suplexed Claudio.

Wheeler Yuta was in next and he got control of Garcia with a series of German Suplexes. Yuta turned his attention to Sammy and dumped Sammy with German Suplexes. Claudio flung Garcia across the ring.

Jake Hager entered for the Jericho Appreciation Society. Hager caught Wheeler off the top turnbuckle and slammed him. Hager and Claudio had a stare down.

“The clash of the titans,” said Regal.

“The match does not officially begin until all 12 men enter the ring,” said Excalibur.

Hager dropped hammer fists on Claudio until Moxley entered and chucked a chair at Hager. Moxley turned Garcia inside out with a suplex. Moxley followed up with cross faces on Garcia. Moxley raked Garcia’s face across the steel cage. Moxley jabbed a fork into Garcia’s forehead.

Claudio lifted up Sammy and then dropped him into Moxley’s cutter. Then Wheeler splashed Sammy from the top turnbuckle. Angelo Parker came into the ring next and tried to flee from the Blackpool Combat Club! Claudio grabbed him and sent him for a ride with the gut wrench suplex! Moxley was waiting right there for an uppercut on Parker. Yuta and Claudio blasted Angelo with uppercuts.

“All of the Jericho Appreciation Society just about is down,” said Taz.

Hager nailed Claudio’s ankle with a steel chair! Garcia blasted Yuta with a shotgun dropkick! Ortiz entered the fray next! He dished out clotheslines to the Jericho Appreciation Society! Moxley spilled a bag of broken glass and spiked Angelo with a piledriver.

Matt Menard entered the ring with a steel chair, waffling Jon Moxley with it. Menard drilled Moxley, opening up Moxley’s wound from Forbidden Door.

Santana brought a barb wire bat and a table into the ring. Santana fired off chops on Menard! Moxley had a pocket full of skewers and spiked Menard in the forehead with them!

Chris Jericho had his baseball bat and entered the ring, but Ortiz ducked and DDT’ed “The Wizard”!

“Months of frustration from Ortiz directed at Jericho,” said Excalibur.

Claudio turned around and ate a Code Breaker from Jericho. Eddie came in with a kendo stick and be began cracking members of the Jericho Appreciation Society with it! And the match officially began with Kingston in the ring.

The fans began to chant “This is awesome! This is awesome! This is awesome!”

Tay Conti passed Jericho a bottle of rubbing alcohol through the cage. Yuta and Moxley took down Daniel Garcia with the Doomsday Device. Kingston and Ortiz powerbombed Hager through a table!

Moxley and Yuta had black bags and opened them, pouring out thumb tacks. Ortiz and Claudio tore up the canvas to expose the wooden boards. Jericho put the Walls of Jericho on Moxley in the tacks!

“It’s sadistic!” said Jim Ross.

Eddie grabbed a handful of tacks and smacked Jericho in the face with them! Tay Conti took out the ref and stole the keys from him to open the cage door. Ruby Soho sprinted to the ring and grounded and pounded Tay! They brawled to the back!

Jericho climbed to the top of the cage structure to get away from Eddie Kingston.

“I’m not sure Jericho knows that Eddie is in hot pursuit behind him,” said Taz.

Kingston walloped Jericho with the spinning back fist! Sammy climbed to the roof of the cage and tackled Eddie Kingston.

“This feels like the calm before the storm, and I think some in our audience feel the same way,” said Taz.

Kingston hit a low blow on Sammy. Kingston shoved Sammy off the top of the cage and Sammy came crashing down through the time keeper’s table!

Jericho and Kingston duked it out on top of the cage! Jericho applied the Walls of Jericho on Kingston! Claudio climbed up to the top of the cage and smashed Jericho with a running boot! Claudio hurled Jericho around with the giant swing on top of the cage! Matt Menard clubbed Claudio from behind, saving Jericho.

Claudio placed Matt in the scorpion death lock and forced “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard to tap out! Kingston was frustrated because he was trying to make Jericho tap out at the same time but Claudio got the tap on Jericho first! which got their team the victory

The video package airs for the match originally scheduled to be Zack Sabre Jr. and Bryan Danielson. With Danielson out, he has promised a suitable replacement and the reveal of the newest member of the Blackpool Combat Club.

Out comes Zack Sabre Jr. and he heads to the ring as the commentators sing his praises. He settles in and his music dies down.

Now the theme for Claudio Castagnoli hits and the crowd gives by far their biggest pop of the night, and one of the biggest in AEW history for sure.

As soon as the bell sounds, Claudio runs across the ring and blasts Zack with a forearm. He then goes for his Neutralizer finisher and connects. He goes for the cover but Zack kicks out at two.

Now the action truly gets underway as Claudio dominates Zack here in the early goings. Zack finally starts getting back in the fight and uses small joint manipulation and other holds to re-gain control.

We see the back-and-forth action from there until Claudio starts to take over again. Zack locks in a guillotine choke and then Claudio suplexes him onto the top-rope.

By now I’m sure most of you have heard the news that Cesaro is no longer apart of WWE … While that is certainly a shock and heartbreaking as a Cesaro fan to hear … I Just wanted to take the time to write this as a Thank you post … For over 11 Years Cesaro was apart of WWE and in those 11 years he has no doubt proven that he is indeed a future Hall of Famer and without a doubt one of the absolute BEST Professional Wrestlers on this Planet … Whether WWE Wanted to let him have the push he deserved or not one thing that never changed was how each and everytime he was in the ring he ALWAYS went out there and delivered and Set the Bar each and every time … There’s no one out there that can match Cesaro when it comes to in the ring strength wise or in ring wise … It’s always gonna be a shame that he NEVER Got the RESPECT and RECOGNITION that he so deserved while he was there .. But if you have been apart of the Cesaro Section even WAY Before his time in WWE you are well aware of the incredible person and in ring performer he is … Again while this news is for sure a bummer as personally I always had hope that we’d be seeing him FINALLY Get the Push that he was due ,I Personally am thankful for all the amazing moments,matches etc that we did get during his time in WWE… Whether it was his time as part of BTE with Natalya and Tyson Kidd which was way too short of a time but in that time those two proved how amazing they were together or his time in The Bar which NO DOUBT was one of the best tag teams that WWE has ever had Sheamus and Cesaro went from not even being friends to becoming friends in front of our very own eyes while that storyline unrivaled it was truly magical to see and so special and to this day there hasn’t been a tag team that got thrown together like that to really make the most of it like those two did .. Or whether it was the team with Shinsuke which was also such a fun pairing .. No matter what Cesaro was given he ALWAYS made the most of it because of his love for Professional Wrestling and that is something that NO ONE can ever take away from him is truly how much he loves Wrestling … Last year during Wrestlemania Season was truly such a special time as a Cesaro fan because we all got to witness him finally get his Wrestlemania moment against one of his best friends Seth Rollins in what was truly such an incredible match and truly can’t think of anyone else that his WM Moment could of been with then Seth and again during that time there was hope that it was finally leading to his Big Push finally happening as that would eventually lead us to the Feud with Roman Reigns where Cesaro FINALLY got a Universal Title Match against Roman in the main event of a PPV and proved what each and everyone of us knew in the Cesaro Section and that was that Cesaro BELONGED in the Main Event Picture as that match was absolutely INCREDIBLE … But while his time in WWE seemingly is over after 11 years in the company we just wanna take the time to thank each and every person who has believed in Cesaro from Day One truly it’s been amazing to see so many people in the Cesaro Section Continue to support and be behind our Swiss Superman all this time and we know that the support has truly meant the world to Cesaro to have everyone still support him so hard and passionately … I don’t know where the future takes Claudio after this journey BUT I Do hope that each and Every person who has been along the journey and supported him all these years will stay on this journey and continue to support him because no matter where he goes he is gonna absolutely continue to prove why he is indeed one of the BEST Professional Wrestlers in the world .. Lastly I wanted to personally thank Cesaro for how AMAZING and GRATEFUL he has been to me and this site I started this site in 2015 and almost 7 years later I couldn’t be prouder of how far it’s come and will continue to keep it open to support Claudio on his journey wherever he does indeed choose to go … Afain THANK YOU CESARO FOR 11 YEARS OF NOTHING BUT AMAZING WORK IN WWE EVERYONE IN THE CESARO SECTION IS SO PROUD TO SUPPORT YOU !!!
